Advanced Options when creating a new application
Using the Advanced options tab when creating a new application provides three useful features for advanced application creation.
- Custom shell username. Six character limit but you can choose what it is instead of a randomly generated one.
- Custom app admin and MySQL password. Provides you the freedom to enter your own password instead of relying on a random one.
- Custom subdomain or full domain. For this field you can enter a custom subdomain of dev.webenabled.com or you can enter a full domain name such as www.acme.com. The system will automatically detect your choice and adjust accordingly. If you don't enter anything in this field, but enter a custom shell username then the shell username will be used for the subdomain of dev.webenabled.com instead of a randomly generated one.
Let's take look at some examples with some screenshots.
