Advantages of WebEnabled Hosting

There are some distinct advantages to hosting on the WebEnabled platform. Today I'll discuss a few.

  1. Per-vhost (or per "dev env") mysqld instances. This is very uncommon with shared hosting (I think that maybe 1% of providers do it), so it truly makes us different... better. This improves security and reliability of our customers' databases through a level of isolation beyond that typically available on shared hosting.
  2. Running each vhost's web scripts as a dedicated Unix user account. This is more common than the above (maybe 30% of large hosting providers do something like it), yet it means that our shared hosting is of the "better type" of those available.
  3. Custom Dashboard interface that is free of clutter, integrated with SVN, Basecamp, our library of applications, and more... much more. Oh, and our Dashboard is SSL protected. It also provides innovative features such as the ability to upload public keys for easy access to your vhosts.

Above are three examples of the advantages of using WebEnabled. We aim to provide the features you need and a workflow that integrates seamlessly into your development process.
