WebEnabled Roadmap and Drupalcon

Well it's good times for WebEnabled. We've released our new dashboard this week. Along with this we've fixed about 50 bugs that have been found (oops). As the platform matures over the next 6-8 months we plan to slow down development cycles and give more time for testing and QA. Because we are an agile team it is hard to resist the temptation to release new goodies to our users almost daily.

Oh. On to the real topic of this post: Drupalcon. This year WebEnabled is sponsoring Drupalcon. We'll be there in full force to help our users. We want anyone who needs a development platform to have access to WebEnabled. In this vein we are also going to be adding Drupal specific functionality to our roadmap in the next month or so. Here are some things to keep an eye out for.

Aegir

We are investigating the idea of adding Aegir into the platform for managing Drupal applications. This will make it easier to upgrade and coordinate many Drupal installs.

Extended Drush Support

We have been asked about integration of SVN and Drush update functionality. We're investigating this and definitely see this in the near future as an addition to each Drupal application hosted on WebEnabled.

Pantheon

We already have support for deploying Pressflow to a Pantheon AMI instance. We are looking forward to enhancing this functionality and making it easier for our users.
